Anna really wanted me to eat chili-cheese fries from Nation’s Burgers for the longest time, so out of nowhere when she headed home from work, she surprised me by bringing some home! Along with some random chocolate cake…
Anna and I meet up my dad at Emeryville and watch Avatar together in 3-D. I swear, it was the most epic movie I have probably seen in my life. Although trying to fit those 3-D glasses over my prescription glasses was really awkward, I somehow got it to stay on for the entire movie and whole-heatedly enjoyed it.
I think after watching that movie, I truly started to feel “old”. Movies in 3-D?!?!?! When the hell did they make it so seamless and amazing? No but if you haven’t watched Avatar yet, I highly suggest you to do so.
After my 8 hour drive up to Norcal from Socal with Julie, the first thing I noticed was how damn cold it was. I swear there is a 20 degree difference between Norcal and Socal. Wearing a jacket inside the house wasn’t my usual attire, but I suppose I am starting to get used to it.
I know that this blog has been hugely neglected, as school and work usually gets the best of me. At first, I thought about simply dedicating this blog to my more philosophical ideas, but now I am deciding to transform it into an online scrapbook for all of my memories- be they in text or in photos.
Winter quarter certainly looks busy for me: Photography Club, Kyrie, Research work, Sociology Immersion program at a Continuation School, Pedagogy Honors class for the “Sociology of Facebook” class I am going to teach in the Spring, Teaching at St. Agnes. Of course there are other interests that I want to concentrate on: my photography, basketball, working out, and writing. And last of all, doing all this while keeping in close contact with family, friends, and my significant other (Cindy).
I recall my time during the summer when I was able to post to my blog almost everyday. I remember gaining much satisfaction and meaning from contributing to this blog, so I hope that I am able to add content to this blog at least once a day.
Anyways, here are some photos that I have taken so far from the Winter Break in Norcal. Enjoy!
