Poetry in SF

While I was walking on Pacific St. in San Francisco, I came upon a small alley at the end of Chinatown. Here are some great quotes I would like to share that I took photos of:

“Poetry is the shadow cast by our streetlight imaginations”

-Lawrence Ferlinghetti

“Love lights more fires than hate extinguishes.”

-Ella Wheeler Wilcox

“The free exploring mind of the individual human is the most valuable thing in the world.”

-John Steinbeck

“Without courage, we cannot practice any other virtue with consistency.”

-Maya Angelou

“Brotherhood in all corners of the world.”

-Chinse Proverb

“When you drink water, think of its source.”

-Chinese Proverb

“In the company of best friends, there is never enough wine.”

-Chinese Proverb
